After over 5 years of personal use of their services and my parents using Co-Operative Motor Insurance for over 30 years it would be fair to say we have been happy with the service they have provided us. However over the last few months our opinions have changed slightly…

Cost of insurance

Expensive now, more than 40% higher that other leading companies.
Good service if you have accident refer to dad
Don’t value custimers, no price matches no negiotations. Offer at the time only available to new customers (WTF?)

No access to update my own address on my own account?!

I rang up the other day and apparently I was not giving enough correct information about myself and therefore I could not access my account. So I rang straight back to get hold of a different person who let me gain information using the same details I gave the first time. I questioned what the original problem was and they told me I didn’t own the car I was saying I did…

I own a Ford Focus? No CIS, I have never owned a Focus…

Well apparently I now drive a ford focus and that is why I struggled getting access to my own account. When I enquired further they appologised and said it was “user error” on there behalf. So dispite the security checks for me not being able to access my own account, they were able to change my car to someone elses without a problem because the account numbers were similar. I recommend using a system that doesnt require call centre staff re-entering account codes manually in future.

CIS you have lost my custom.

I noticed Tommy Lee Jones was in this film and as a follower of his work though it was only right to watch it and then give it a review for you to read.

The film started of in a fairly steady manner with a fairly moody and misty Louisiana atmosphere. The good camera work helps create a good atmosphere for this thriller and although not the best film ever it’s definitely worth buying. 7/10 overall.

Gusto’s Takeaway Service Review

I noticed Gustos promotional material landing through the door for 40% off their takeaway collection menu and thought it would be an ideal opportunity to sample their food, service and do another Didsbury review.

We located the Gusto website and selected a large American style pizza – “The Griffin”. We went to pay online to discover there was a further 10% discount for ordering online, you can’t complain at that. A phone call arrived about 5 minutes later to confirm the order by a very polite gentleman called Charlie and told it would be ready in about 20 minutes for collection. I arrived at the restaurant and they were polite and very prompt at dealing with me. It cost under £6 which is fantastic and the pizza really was to restaurant standards and was perfectly cooked.

Conclusion
I would highly recommend the takeaway service and could not of asked for better service.

Food: 4/5
Price: 4/5
Service: 5/5

After walking around Didsbury Village looking for somewhere to get some food and being told that the Gourmet Burger Kitchen had run out of lamb and beef (WTF?!?!) we ended up going for a fast option. Topkapi, situated on Didsbury high street, although not that amazing to look at from the roadside pleasantly suprised us.

We went for a large “Hot n’ Spicy” pizza and chips. Expecting very little from it we tucked in. I think it is fair to say it’s the nicest take away pizza I’ve had in a couple of years and the chips were fantastic too.

Service: 5/5
Food 5/5
Price 5/5
